(1) How KcalPic Collects and Uses Your Information (Including Personal Information)
Personal information refers to various types of information recorded electronically or by other means that can identify a specific natural person's identity or reflect a specific natural person's activities, either individually or in combination with other information. Personal sensitive information includes biometric information (such as fingerprints, facial features, voiceprints), identification document numbers, bank account numbers, property information, transaction information, location data, etc.
We will only collect and use your information for the purposes listed in this statement:
1. Scope of Application
1.1 KcalPic's Information Collection and Use
Phone number: The App collects the user's phone number, which is actively provided by the user when binding their phone number.
Device information: The App collects device model, operating system version, device configuration, etc. for version optimization purposes. The App collects IMEI, MAC, IDFA, Android ID, and OAID for user statistics purposes.
Personal user data obtained by KcalPic through legitimate channels from business partners.
You understand and agree that the following information is not subject to this privacy policy:
Keyword information you enter when using the search services provided by the KcalPic platform;
Violations of laws and regulations or KcalPic rules, and measures that KcalPic has taken against you.
1.2 KcalPic's Permission Requests
Read device information: IMEI, MAC, IDFA, Android ID, and OAID are used as the basis for account generation, allowing users to enjoy all services without registration.
Read/write external storage permission: When you use the photo import or save to local album features, you may need to enable storage permission. If you do not enable this permission, you will not be able to use the related features, but it will not affect your use of other services.
Network access permission: When you need to obtain account information, network access is required. If you do not enable this permission, you will not be able to use the related features.
2. Use of Information
KcalPic will not provide, sell, rent, share, or trade your personal information to any unrelated third party unless prior permission is obtained from you, or the third party and KcalPic (including KcalPic's affiliated companies) individually or jointly provide services to you, and after such services end, they will be prohibited from accessing all such data, including data they previously had access to.
KcalPic also does not allow any third party to collect, edit, sell, or freely distribute your personal information by any means. Any KcalPic platform user who engages in the above activities, once discovered, KcalPic has the right to immediately terminate the service agreement with such user.
3. Information Disclosure
Under the following circumstances, KcalPic will disclose your personal information in whole or in part in accordance with your personal wishes or legal requirements:
Disclosure to a third party with your prior consent;
Sharing your personal information with a third party is necessary to provide the products and services you have requested;
Disclosure to a third party or to administrative or judicial authorities in accordance with relevant laws or at the request of administrative or judicial authorities;
If you violate relevant Chinese laws, regulations, or the KcalPic service agreement or related rules, disclosure to a third party is necessary;
If you are an eligible intellectual property complainant and have filed a complaint, disclosure to the respondent upon request, so that both parties can handle potential rights disputes;
In a transaction created on the KcalPic platform, if any party to the transaction has fulfilled or partially fulfilled their transaction obligations and requests information disclosure, KcalPic has the right to decide to provide the requesting user with the necessary information such as contact details of their counterparty, to facilitate the completion of the transaction or the resolution of disputes.
Other disclosures that KcalPic deems appropriate in accordance with laws, regulations, or website policies.
4. Use of Cookies
Unless you refuse to accept cookies, KcalPic will set or access cookies on your computer so that you can log in or use KcalPic platform services or features that rely on cookies.
You have the right to accept or refuse cookies. You can refuse cookies by modifying your browser settings. However, if you choose to refuse cookies, you may not be able to log in or use KcalPic network services or features that rely on cookies.
Information obtained through cookies set by KcalPic will be subject to this policy.
5. Information Security
KcalPic accounts have security protection features. Please keep your username and password information safe. KcalPic will ensure that your information is not lost, misused, or altered through security measures such as encrypting user passwords. Despite the aforementioned security measures, please also note that there is no such thing as "perfect security measures" on information networks.
When conducting online transactions using KcalPic network services, you will inevitably need to disclose your personal information to the counterparty or potential counterparty, such as contact information or postal address. Please protect your personal information carefully and only provide it to others when necessary. If you discover that your personal information has been leaked, especially your KcalPic username and password, please contact KcalPic customer service immediately so that KcalPic can take appropriate measures.
6. Account Deletion
If you need to delete your account, please open the app --> tap "Me" to enter the profile page --> tap "Settings" --> tap "Delete Account." After tapping delete, all your information stored on the server (including account and membership information) will be immediately deleted and cannot be recovered. Please proceed with caution.
(2) Retention Policy and Data Storage
We will retain the personal information collected above for the period required by laws and regulations and necessary to fulfill the purposes of information collection. After such period, we will no longer retain personal information or will anonymize it.
2-1. Data Storage Location
Personal information collected and generated through this product and services will be stored within the territory of the People's Republic of China.
2-2. Data Retention Period
We will retain your personal information only for the time necessary to achieve the above purposes, and will delete or anonymize your personal information after the retention period expires, unless otherwise required by laws and regulations.
In the KcalPic application, your personal data is specifically retained as follows: We collect pseudonymized device identifiers, location information, mobile network codes, and mobile country codes, with a data retention period of at least 6 months.
Additionally, if our products or services cease operations, we will notify you through push notifications, announcements, or other means, and will delete your personal information or anonymize it within a reasonable period.
